There is a majestic yet mysterious power that is the divine motion of evolution. This spiritual energy is the activity of spirit, and we are all participating in its great cosmic dance. This sacred power goes by the ancient name of Fohat. It is Fohat that stirs souls into action. We embody Fohat according to our ability to be creatively active. In this dynamic time as humanity is being given an unprecedented opportunity to unfold its spiritual potential, we are called to greater action: spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
You express this great cosmic power through your auric field. Your aura is the individual expression of the universal life force. Every facet of your aura reflects how you are utilizing the Divine Light and the cosmic life forces. Through meditation, you can draw in more of the Divine Light to enhance your aura. Then as you apply the Divine Light in your life, it becomes a part of you. And to apply the Light in your life, you must be in motion. The colorful energies of your aura are in motion. You are assisting in the integration of the auric energies through the movement.
The goal is to generate more Fohat, and you do that through motion.
Keeping physically active in a healthy and productive way builds up the power of your Fohat. This can be accomplished through participating in the motion of life. When you’re pursuing your purpose and potential and serving the greater good, this affects the motion of the aura and enhances the power of Fohat. This tells us we can sit on the fence and just let life pass us by. Certainly, there are times of repose and rest, as well as times to heal and regenerate, but creation is in motion and spiritual evolution is an activity.
Physical activity such as walking, sports, and dancing help to integrate the auric powers. There are spiritual systems of movement, such as the various asanas of hatha yoga or the gentle movements of Qi Gong that, when rightly used, enhance the auric flow. The mystic Rudolf Steiner developed a movement system he called eurythmy that stimulated the etheric double in the aura.
Destructive actions such as physical abuse and violence tear down and diminish the Fohat. Being lazy and indolent does not build up Fohat and tends to lead to more inaction. Fohat is a divine energy meant to support the divine processes. You want to be doing actions that are healthy, vibrant, and strong. This encourages the consciousness and builds spiritual momentum.
Fohat is strongly connected to our emotions and healthy emotional life.
A lot of metaphysical focus is on the development of the mind and rightfully so. Yet unless you have a healthy emotional life, those beautiful ideas are not going to take root. Tend to the garden of your emotions. What thoughts you are embracing? What emotional expression are you giving? Emotions are meant to be expressed, so a healthy emotional life involves loving interactions with others, with community and a loving interaction with God. As all these things come together, the emotional life sings. As it sings, the Fohat of life is in motion and beautiful actions are produced, and you are moving upward.
When you live in harmony with the Divine Light and the cosmic forces of life, all aspects of life—physical, mental, and spiritual—flow in greater divine rhythm and you are more motivated and productive.
